Services
Electrical laying has been installed from San Martín de los Andes up to the crossing with Provincial Route 63, and formalities are being filed before the E.P.E.N. and provincial entities in order to make progress with the works towards Villa Meliquina. This will produce a transcendental change in the district.
Cotesma, San Martín de los Andes' telephone cooperative, renders services at Meliquina through a radiofrequency system which enables users to phone any destination in the world.
Water is usually obtained through drilling or from natural springs or creeks. However, it is essential that all neighbors get together so as to make progress in the installation of a fresh water supply system that may unify the great number of individual piping systems that have been made in rivers and creeks.
Gas is supplied by CNG tanks and the main suppliers are Repsol YPF and Shell.
